Saturday, February 4^th 2017, saw FXTM increase its national standing in Nigeria with yet another successful Executive Financial Trading Seminar. Taking place at the Best Western Hotel in Port Harcourt, and featuring a special presentation by Market Research Analyst Lukman Otunuga, the event sparked significant interest in forex trading among the local business community.

Every seat in the house was filled as Lukman took to the stage to give his speech. The FXTM expert provided insight on world news events and vital local market trends, including;

• Raising US Interest Rates by the Federal Reserve.
• The continued impact of Brexit on the GBP.
• Upcoming political turmoil affecting the EUR.
• The current stance of Gold and Oil in the markets.
• The possibility of the CBN intervening by devaluing the Naira this year

The seminar in Port Harcourt came right after January’s equally successful event in Abuja. It is a testament to the quality of FXTM’s educational mission in Nigeria that the turnout at these seminars remains so high. Particularly at Port Harcourt, where attendance exceeded 200 people.

On the 28^th of January, 2017, FXTM Nigeria hosted the latest Executive Financial Trading Seminar at Nanet Suites with tremendous success. As part of an ongoing monthly educational series, the exclusive seminar introduced prospective traders, entrepreneurs, and industry workers in Abuja, to the online world of forex trading. It was held just one week after the equally successfully event held in Lagos.

In line with FXTM’s commitment to providing comprehensive and affordable forex education, the seminar was absolutely free to attend. It featured a keynote presentation by FXTM’s Market Research Analyst, Lukman Otunuga, on the Global Landscape of 2017.

Topics covered in the presentation include:

• The Federal Reserve raising US Interest Rates and what that means.
• The impact of Brexit on the financial markets and the GBP.
• Political risks in Europe affecting the EUR
• The state of Gold and Oil in the current markets
• How the Nigerian economy is holding up

The turnout for these seminars has been growing steadily and Abuja was no exception. Enthusiastic attendees soaked in the knowledge and a lively Q&A session ended proceedings; after which the stage was set for networking opportunities.

On the 21^st of January, 2017, at the beautiful Citiheight Lagos Hotel, FXTM Nigeria hosted the latest Executive Financial Trading Seminar with resounding success. As part of an ongoing monthly educational series, the exclusive seminar introduced prospective traders, entrepreneurs, and industry workers in Lagos to the online world of forex trading.

Seminar topics focused on price trends in the financial markets, popular risk management practices and how to pinpoint investment opportunities. Highlight discussions included:

• Trading precious commodities like Gold and Oil
• Trading currency pairs in the forex market
• Getting to know FXTM Invest, the modern investment program which allows investors to follow suitable traders
• And so much more!

The turnout for these seminars keeps getting stronger and stronger, with a big crowd of enthusiastic attendees absorbing the knowledge from FXTM’s market experts. A Q&A session ended proceedings after which the stage was set for networking opportunities, which the people gladly took advantage of.

In line with one of the broker’s core values, FXTM has given back to the community of its foreign office in Nigeria. During the Christmas holidays, the broker celebrated with the children of Little Saint Orphanage and donated food, beverages, education materials and other life necessities to the orphanage whose mission is to help rehabilitate and care for young children and babies; providing shelter, food and medical facilities to orphans and youths who are less privileged.

FXTM Nigeria’s Office Director, Abiola Akinyele, met with the Orphanage’s founder Rev. Mrs. Dele George and trustee Mrs. Mayen Famous on the 23^rd of December, 2016, to discuss the important work that the organization does for the Nigerian community.

Commenting on his visit and the donations, Mr. Akinyele said, “It was an honour to have the opportunity to donate to Little Saints Orphanage, whose cause is very close to our hearts. At FXTM, our mission is not only to offer advanced and innovative services and optimal customer care, but to also show responsibility towards the society around us.”
